While we desert dwellers enjoy our small town atmosphere, our community offers a variety of big-city cultural offerings. Celebrate our robust and sophisticated cultural scene. El Paseo Art Walk
El Paseo is located in south Palm Desert, off Highway 111 between Monterey (Highway 74) and Portola / Art lovers can stroll and enjoy artist receptions, gallery hospitality, and a festive atmosphere. El Paseo is a world-class shopping district that features over 250 shops, art galleries, jewelers, restaurants and more. College of the Desert Street Fair - Saturdays and Sundays
The COD Street Fair features 340 outdoor vendors offering new merchandise, arts, crafts, and a Farmers Market. Open every weekend all year, located on the COD campus. Proceeds benefit college programs and students. October through May, 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. and June through September, 7 a.m to noon. The Street Fair is located on the beautiful College of the Desert campus (43-500 Monterey Avenue), surrounded by date palms and mountain vistas. Free parking, free admission and free entertainment. Palm Springs VillageFest -Thursdays
Join thousands of visitors and locals in beautiful downtown Palm Springs for the valley's finest event. Every Thursday, downtown Palm Springs transforms into a diverse array of artists, artisans, entertainers, and purveyors of fresh fruits and veggies, flowers, jewelry, snacks and sweets. Add all that to the great shops, restaurants, clubs, and entertainment venues located along World Famous Palm Canyon Drive- and the result is one of Southern California's most popular weekly events - Villagefest!
